This was getting to heated, and I needed to take it the next step. "Are you comfortable with me?" "What do you think...?" she softly responded. "I want to take you back to my room." "Then what are you waiting for?" My jaw just about hit the floor. I wouldn't be waiting long now... We said good-byes to our closer friends and wandered out, not bothering to disguise our destination as a walk along the beach. We went *straight* across Dorm Quad. However long it took for us to make love, however long it took before we even started, we weren't going to waste any time getting to be alone. While we were walking, I asked her if she had any shorter name forms or pet names/nicknames she liked. "Well, an old boyfriend used to call me Chris, but that was kind of generic, and I'd rather you used something else, if you want to." "That doesn't help," I said with a smile. "Well, you're creative! Think of something, and if I like it, you can use it!" "Hmmm... how about... 'Luscious?'" She shook her head, snorting. "Ok, then, you don't like luscious. What about Cherry? Nooo... that won't work after.." She swung real wide and slapped my chest! But then she leaned in and licked my ear. "Sorry, Christine. Chrissy? No? Christi? That's ok? Well, I could use Christi. But I think I prefer something more special and personal, like... "Angel." Christine just leaned in and put her arm around my waist. She was smiling, but I could see a tear well up in her eye. She wiped it away before she thought I would notice it. When we got to my room, I closed the door behind us and she just stood there, in front of the loft, looking. Her mouth was slightly open, and she was surveying the view... after all, it was impressive. That early evening before jumping in the shower, I had cleaned up, straightened up the area under the loft where the couch and A/V system were, made my bed, vacuumed and done various other things to make the room appear more spacious than it was. I had turned on a light blue light bulb downstairs, lighting the area indirectly, and I had a shaded lamp upstairs that shone with a red bulb. In some circumstances it could have been extremely tacky.
