But what she was saying still got to me; I don't like feeling like I've been ignoring someone, especially not when that someone has been actively trying to get my attention. There was something about her, though... something that seemed awfully familiar. I said "What have you been doing to get my attention?" "Well, I've left you mail several times. I've attended at least one of your classes. I talked to you directly, in fact, a few months ago. I left my name with you. Don't you remember?" I shook my head. I'm sure she did all those things, I just don't remember her doing so, and that's what really frustrated me. |
