I held it up and let it catch the light from the tree. Glittering rainbow colors emerged from it and bathed the walls and floor, moving back and forth as the pendant spun slowly. I put the pendant and the sweater back in the box and set it aside, and dug beneath the flowing brunette hair for another present. |
